Passing through the small wooden door from the library floor, you make your way up the spiralled stone steps which open out into an attic workshop space above the library, dimly lit by the window in the end wall, the stairs continuing up into the spire above. Along the length of the room, at regular intervals, smoothly ornate stone rafters pass through the wooden floor to join the the ceiling, hailing from a time before this space existed. Between two of the rafters is a set of shelves, between another two is a desk littered with papers, quills and sketching implements. On the opposite side is a small partially enclosed metal hearth, the shadow behind it seeming too dark for the light level of the room, and a work bench, littered with fine metal working tools, thin strips of various metals, scraps of paper covered in sketched designs, and the odd assorted jewel. At the far end of the room is a curtain of thick black fabric.

Laila looks up at you from where she is busy at her work bench, " Oh, hello" She stands moving to greet you. "Did you want something?"

Focus Upgrades

"Focus upgrades? Sure, easy." Laila spins about moving through her workspace to go produce various tools and pieces of metal and jewel. "Oh, hold on." She turns back to face you, "Did you have anything in mind? People tend to prefer to choose the specifics of their focus. Not to mention the appearance." Grabbing a spare sheet of paper she plonks herself on a stool next to you. "Sit down, tell me what you want and I will see what I can do!"
